Job Summary

Responsible for the unit’s logistics relating to materials.

• Identifying tools, parts and supplies needed in the drilling and marine operations on board the vessel. This will include performing research to ensure proper part / item

• Securing the proper vendor, preparing order requisitions including costs of item

• Providing the OIM with expense reports on items to be ordered and, once approved

• Ordering requested items needed for the operations ongoing on the drilling vessel

• Receiving, tagging with Seadrill identification number / tag and storing items in the appropriate storage facility or contacting Crane Operator to relocate item to auxiliary storage facility

• Maintaining accurate inventory and control of all items, including securing the requested item from storage room and distributing or on occasion delivering the item to the requesting party

• Perform housekeeping of all storage areas and material filing systems.

The Storekeeper reports to the OIM.
