We are now looking to strengthen our marine team, and are looking for an experienced Roustabout Pusher for our Americas region. Possible areas of work: Gulf of Mexico or international.

Job Summary
Supervises crane and deck operations ensuring all operations are carried out in a safe and well-organized manner

1. Be conversant and utilize appropriate company procedures for all lifting operations
2. Establish and document deck loading and organization plans
3. When required operate the rig’s cranes in a safe and efficient manner working within the design specifications and environmental limits of the crane
4. Manage heavy or complex lifts according to company policy and procedure
5. Monitor deck cargo to ensure it is clear of obstructions and correctly sea fastened
6. Ensure maintenance tasks on the equipment are completed and documented
7. Provide assistance in the operations of the bulk system for loading, transfers and general use
8. Manage supply boat traffic, specifically during loading and unloading of deck cargo
9. Coordinate and plan activities in conjunction with client logistics personnel onboard
10. Provide Crane Operator and Roustabouts with relevant instructions for current and forth coming operations
11. Ensure that the deck crew are conversant with relevant rig specific procedures, that they are understood, utilized and recognized changes are documented
12. Supervise the inspection, replacement and installation of bulk loading hoses
13. Actively participate in the Safety Management Systems
14. Maintain an up to date running inventory of slings and lifting equipment in use and order replacements as required. Responsible for the overall inventory and certification of slings. Assist in maintaining an accurate lifting gear register
15. Actively participate in safety, departmental, pre-tour, client meetings, etc.
16. Ensure housekeeping is maintained in assigned areas
17. Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates. Recommend promotion, development or disciplinary action
18. Mentor, develop and train crew members to ensure they are competent to work in their current job positions and where appropriate coached and prepared for the next position
19. Monitor the environmental conditions to ensure the safety of operations on deck
20. Perform or lead incident investigation as required
21. Ensure that approved rig operating procedures are adhered to at all times. Report all unsafe activities
22. Maintain a daily log as required
23. Effectively use all safety and environmental tools employed by Seadrill (4-point check, OBS cards, PTW etc.)
24. Perform all emergency duties as per designation on the station bill
25. Complete training requirements in a timely manner as per Seadrill training matrix

• Must meet educational requirement
• Must be a US citizen or have legal authorization to work in the US
• Must meet required work experience
• Knowledge of standards, regulations and requirement within the industry
• Good language skills, both oral and written
